Dental Assistants

Our capable dental assistants make sure everything runs smoothly during your visit. They assist Dr. Magid in providing you with remarkable care. Your comfort is their priority.

Helen - Clinical Assistant

No one can believe how many years Helen has been in the dental profession since she doesn’t look or act old enough. She must have started very young. She’s seen dentistry change from the old belt-driven “drill” to treating teeth with a laser and she knows every procedure completely.

Helen’s been assisting Dr. Magid in caring for patients for more than 20 years and she’s finally semi-retired. She’ll never leave, she loves our patients too much, but at least she’s got a little more time to ride roller coasters, spend time at the beach, and take care of her house and cat.

Rosaura - Clinical Assistant

A transplant from the wide open spaces of Texas, Rosaura lights up our office with her southern warmth and charm. She’s not only become Dr. Magid’s primary chairside assistant, she’s our expert on Zoom Advanced and other forms of teeth whitening. You may even be greeting by her at the front desk where she can also help you with any of your insurance questions or scheduling needs.

Looking at her it’s hard to believe she has two sons, one of whom is college age. When we say that our office believes in “full service” Rosaura took us seriously, it’s where she met her husband TJ.

Shameka - Clinical Assistant

Although Dr. Rapp’s primary chairside assistant, you may find Shameka everywhere in the office, at the front desk scheduling your appointments, chairside treating patients, assisting the hygienists, or making sure that all of our instruments are sterilized and everything we need for your comfortable treatment is near at hand.

Shameka seems to have an endless supply of cheer and energy which she uses to raise everyone’s spirits as well as the four children waiting for her and home.

Roving Assistants - Nicole and Carmella

Nicole and Carmella have joined us as roving dental assistants...which mean they can be found everywhere in the office. In addition to assisting chairside, they will help schedule your appointments, bring you a hot towel at the end of your visit, and make sure that everything we use is sterilized for your safety.

For both Nicole and Carmella this is their first time working in a dental practice but they bring warm welcoming personalities and many talents to our team.
